Hair Replacement Treatment

Alopecia happens to all; females, males and transgender.  If you are unfortunate and suffer from extreme episodes it may result in permanent hair loss.  In most cases the hair does grow back naturally however for some people, hair replacement treatment is required.  This is when you should speak to a specialist who can tell you what is best for you, after a consultation and analysing your scalp and hair follicle.

Why does it happen?

Alopecia is caused when a person’s immune system is low.  Your genes and family medical history may also play a part in the situation, so it might be worthwhile asking family relatives if they have ever suffered from Alopecia.  It has an impact on 1 or 2 people in every 1,000 in the UK.  If left untreated it can lead to baldness, patches where the hair has disappeared or fallen out, this can have a very negative impact on your confidence.

If you have diabetes or have an overactive thyroid maybe check your scalp regularly.

Some people with Alopecia can suffer from scarring, again this can leave you very self-conscious and aware of it.

Make contact

Call the clinic via the home page of this blog.  Ask to make an appointment with a Trichologist who will explain things to you.  What you need is someone who will test the hair follicle and then tell you what’s the best treatment plan for you to sign up to.  We honestly urge you to see a specialist for hair loss who focuses on things like Alopecia.  Versus spending loads of hard earned money on products and treatments that may be temporary fixes but not long-term solutions.  If you are not on medication and there is nothing in your medical history, then surely you want an answer re why you are suffering from this.  But, do not leave it too late.
